03Information We Collect
We collect information in three general ways: information you provide to us directly, information we collect automatically when you use the Site, and information we receive from third parties.
3.1 Information You Provide to Us
You may choose to provide information directly to us, including when you:
- Subscribe to a newsletter, email list, or updates;
- Complete a contact form or otherwise communicate with us;
- Post a comment, submit user-generated content, or participate in interactive features;
- Respond to a survey, poll, promotion, or request for feedback;
- Create an account or register, if such features are offered.
Depending on the interaction, this information may include your name, email address, username, the content of your message or submission, and any other information you choose to provide. You are not required to provide this information to browse most of the Site, but certain features may not function without it.
3.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your device and your activity. This information may include:
- Device and connection information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and identifiers, screen resolution, and language settings;
- Usage information, such as the pages and content you view, the date and time of your visit, the duration of your visit, the links you click, the referring and exit pages, and search terms you enter on the Site;
- Approximate location information, which may be inferred from your IP address;
- Log data, which our servers and service providers may automatically record.
We collect this information through cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies, as described in Section 5 (Cookies and Tracking Technologies) below.
3.3 Information We Receive From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, including analytics providers, advertising partners and networks, embedded content and data providers such as Oddspedia (which powers the live odds, scores, and data on the Site), and affiliate program operators. For example, advertising partners may share information about your interactions with advertisements, and analytics providers may supplement the usage information we collect. We may combine this information with other information we hold about you.
04How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and provide the Site and its content to you, including live odds, scores, and data features;
- To personalize and improve your experience, including remembering your preferences;
- To analyze and understand how visitors use the Site, including measuring traffic, engagement, and the performance of our content;

- To send you newsletters, updates, and other communications you have requested, and to respond to your inquiries;
- To detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
- To enforce our Terms of Use and other policies, and to protect our rights, property, and safety and those of our users and the public;
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests; and
- For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.
05Cookies and Tracking Technologies
5.1 What These Technologies Are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies are small pieces of code or images that allow a website or its partners to record information about your activity. We refer to these collectively as "cookies and tracking technologies." We use both cookies that we set ("first-party cookies") and cookies set by third parties ("third-party cookies").
5.2 Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Site to function and to remember your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional cookies. Support features such as content sharing on social media, collecting feedback, and enabling third-party tools.
- Analytics and performance cookies. Allow us to count visits and traffic sources and to measure and improve the performance of the Site.
- Advertising and targeting cookies. May be set by us and by our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests, to show you relevant advertisements on the Site and elsewhere, and to measure advertising effectiveness.
5.3 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to help us understand how visitors engage with the Site. You can learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5.4 Advertising and Embedded Third-Party Services
We use Google advertising products, which may include Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager, and we may work with other third-party advertising networks. We also embed third-party tools such as Oddspedia to provide live odds, scores, and data. These third parties may set their own cookies and similar technologies and process information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. You may control personalized advertising from Google through Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.
5.5 Managing Cookies
The Site provides a cookie preferences tool that lets you accept or reject categories of non-essential cookies and update your choices at any time. In addition, most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. If you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly. For additional advertising opt-out tools, see Section 7 (Your Advertising Choices) below.
06How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, email delivery, content management, and security, authorized to use the information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Embedded content and data providers. We use third-party tools such as Oddspedia to provide live odds, scores, and data. These providers may collect information through your use of those features under their own privacy policies.
- Advertising partners. We share or make available certain information, including identifiers and online activity information, with advertising networks to deliver and measure advertising, including interest-based advertising. Depending on the laws of your state, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Section 10 (Your State Privacy Rights).
- Affiliate partners. When you click certain links, including links to sportsbooks or other third parties, our affiliate partners may receive information indicating that the referral originated from the Site, so referrals can be attributed and tracked. See Section 9.
- Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information to comply with law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bang the Over, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred, subject to the recipient honoring this Privacy Policy or providing notice of any material change.
- With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect it or with your consent.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
07Your Advertising Choices
You have several options to limit interest-based advertising:
- Google Ad Settings. Manage the advertisements Google shows you at adssettings.google.com.
- Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). Opt out at optout.aboutads.info or youradchoices.com.
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). Opt out at optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Browser and device controls. Adjust the cookie and tracking settings in your browser, and reset or limit the advertising identifier on your mobile device.
Opting out does not stop all advertising. It means the advertisements you see may be less relevant. These tools are cookie-based and device-specific, so you may need to opt out again if you clear cookies or switch browsers or devices.
08Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. However, where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When you visit the Site using a browser or extension that transmits a GPC signal, we treat that signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser or device, to the extent required by law.
09Affiliate Disclosure and Third-Party Links
The Site participates in affiliate marketing programs and contains affiliate links and advertisements. When you click certain links and take qualifying actions on a third-party website, we may earn a commission or other compensation at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
The Site also contains links to websites and services operated by third parties, including sportsbooks. We provide these links for convenience and do not control or assume responsibility for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of any third-party website. When you leave the Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy and terms of every third-party website you visit.
10Your State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We provide the following disclosures and rights to residents of states whose laws grant them.
10.1 Categories of Personal Information
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as IP address and online identifiers); internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing and usage data); approximate geolocation information inferred from IP address; commercial information (such as records of interactions and affiliate referrals); and, where you provide it, contact information and the contents of your communications. We collect this information from the sources described in Section 3 and use it for the purposes described in Section 4.
10.2 "Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics cookies that enable interest-based advertising and cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. You have the right to opt out of this activity. You can do so using the advertising opt-out tools in Section 7, by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal as described in Section 8, by using the Site's cookie preferences tool, or by contacting us as described in Section 15. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.
10.3 Rights of California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it;
- Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
10.4 Rights of Washington Residents (My Health My Data Act)
If you are a Washington resident, the Washington My Health My Data Act may provide you with rights concerning "consumer health data" as defined under that law. We do not intend to collect consumer health data through the Site. If you believe we have collected such data, you may contact us to exercise applicable rights, including the right to access, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to request deletion. We will respond consistent with the requirements of that law.
10.5 Rights of Residents of Other States
Residents of other states that have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws, which may include Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others, may have similar rights, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal information, subject to the conditions and exceptions of the applicable law. We honor the rights granted to residents of these states to the extent the applicable law applies to us.
10.6 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 15. We will need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests, and we may ask for additional information for that purpose. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Where applicable law provides for an appeal, you may appeal a denial by contacting us and describing the basis for your appeal.
11Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. The criteria we use include the length of our relationship with you, our legal and contractual obligations, and whether retention is advisable to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect against legal claims. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely store it.
12Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information, and you provide information to us at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with your use of the Site.
13Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults of legal age to view sports wagering content in their jurisdiction and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13) in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen (18). If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 15, and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14Users Outside the United States
The Site is operated in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

16Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other reasons. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law, such as by posting a prominent notice on the Site.
